The Lady of the Twelfth Hour

I see you in the silence,

I see you in the song,

I'll see you in this moment,

I've seen you all along.

I see you in my lover,

I see you in my friend,

I saw you at the beginning,

I saw you at the end.

I see you in the flowers,

I see you in the trees,

I see you when I stand,

I see you on my knees.

I see you in my mind,

I see you my heart,

I'll see you alone forever,

I've seen you from the start.

I've seen you in the future,

I've seen you in the past,

I saw you as the first,

I'll see you as the last.

I saw you in God's perfection,

when I looked in the Devil's eye,

forever safe in heaven,

a song falling from the sky.

She sings:

"In the blackness of his heart,

is where I'll safely hide,

in shadows and in silence,

is where I will reside."

"One place they'll never look,

no, they'll never find me here,

a light in perfect darkness,

is the one thing that they fear."

"I'll watch their world smolder,

till long last ember gone,

and sitting still in silence,

I'll sing the Black Flame's song."

"In the light that is the darkness,

solemnly I stand,

the spirit of a woman,

residing in a man."

"As I watch a galaxy turn,

so I watched their world die,

all things wrought by sun,

sadly written in the sky."

"As children of men looked upward,

lured blind by golden light,

I shut my eyes and jumped,

to grasp the last resort of sight."

"And in the world they can't see,

nigh visible to their eyes,

in children named 'deplorable',

I saw the sons of god in disguise."

"And though these be the masters,

in low and lofty place,

they'll forever bow before me,

but they'll never see my face."

"As this eleventh hour closes,

the eleventh bell rings long,

calling for the choir,

to sing Her Unsung Song."
